The lack of touchscreen tech (and slightly less ridiculous screen resolution) is (I suspect) the reason Apple's been able to put out the latest Air with twice the battery and twice the SSD drive space of any other Ultrabooks on the market, for the same price (or less): an unprecedented event in my experience with the Mac eco system.
