I guess, growing up with the 60s/70s stereotype supers that Moore was making “real” — and, heck, growing up in the Nixon era — makes far too much fun.

My problem, no doubt, lies with having read later works that did it – for me – better. The Authority came first for me, and had much closer ties to the era I know. I am aware of the irony of my preferences. FWIW, I definitely anticipate the movie a gret deal.
