Shawn of the Dead: Hilarious, serious, horrifying, gruesome, funny. Hilariously horryfying, gruesomely funny. It’s some of what I expected (a romantic comedy with zombies inserted into the story in the place of things like missed phone calls and mixed messages) and some pretty surprisingly dramatic stuff that I wasn’t.
Recommended. See it before middle america says “Huh? I don’t get it.” too often and it’s relegated to booming DVD sales.

Saw it, I only give it a B minus. There were a few amusing parts, but not nearly as funny as I expected.
I think the thing I liked about it the most was the recursion of events and the really interesting stuff they did with “here’s what would really happen to your teetering sanity when your friends and family starting dying and coming back to eat you.
I think it’s a pretty rewatchable movie. I’ll find out if I’m right pretty soon.
