Another chance at Serenity

Joss announces more Serenity screenings.

You might have heard rumors, but I’m here to confirm. On thursday the 26th the studio is doing another round of hit-and-run screenings, and this time it’s not ten cities — it’s twenty. It’s another vote of confidence from the studio and another chance for us to say “thanks” to you guys for keeping this all rolling. And most importantly, another chance to run that videotape of me before the movie, looking so tragically sexy.
“Wait a minute! What cities!?!?! Hey, %#$@face, stop talking about how sexy you are (although you are confessedly quite the dish) and give us the info!” Well, I don’t actually know. I think we’ll be repeating in the cities we’ve hit and adding 10 new ones. I expect can’tstopthesignal will have the info some time tomorrow, and let the manager-threatening begin! (Or, you know, the ticket buying.)

  1. Purchasing seems to be giving me errors. Wondering if it’s already sold out (if so, there should be a sold out message), or if it’s too early to buy stuff.
    Huh.

  2. Got mine for Providence today.
I am amazed that they’re doing one in CT and one in Providence, but still nothing in NYC.

  3. I called the customer service number and was assured the order did go through but they are having “Technical Difficulties”. Everyone should get an e-mail confirmation.

  4. Nope.
Well, not to this viewing — the tickets sold out too soon, and my purchase window kept erroring out.

  5. They’re not doing Los Angeles either. Hugely annoying that my best prospects for seeing the movie early requires taking two days off of work to do it.
Or half a day off, if I’m willing to drive in just before the film, drive all night to get back and go right back into work the next morning.
