Bang bang, my baby shot me down

The best way to see Kill Bill is to watch Volume 1 and then go right to the theatre and watch Volume 2.
Tarantino did it again. Wow. Wow wow.
And my my, David Carradine. Very impressive acting chops — very nice delivery. Very poised. Man finally got his crap together. I’d almost say Tarantino (aside from making a great movie) resurrected another dead acting career.
And of course, there’s that brilliant theme song.

  1. Loved it.
A complete change of pace and genre from the first. Well at least a little nice overlap and interweaving to bring everything together.
Best trailer fight since Raising Arizona!

  2. I dunno, I didn’t particularly enjoy the first one, so I’m a bit reticient to see the second half. I’ll probably go anyway, just to listen to the cool music Tarantino dug up for the soundtrack and to watch his DOP’s excellent work instead of for the directing or acting.

  3. I’m not sure that there really was acting in the last one — at least not in the traditional sense — not the kind of stuff you win awards for, anyway.
This time — some pretty good stuff.
