The only difference between Biden and Palin is that Biden has a much shorter leash. And Biden actually went to college. Biden and Dan Quayle are a better comparison.
Mmmeh. Quayle struck me as incompetence (or perhaps verbal-cognitive issues) promoted to a level of visibility. Biden's problem is a lack of impulse control, not a lack of intelligence.
