Balance shifts. Art ? Product? Hmm.  <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/doycet\/statuses\/322024093656440833\" class=\"aktt_tweet_time\">#<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Reason I&#039;m thinking about this: I know lots of people who paint just to enjoy painting; it&#039;s okay. Far fewer writers can do the same thing.  <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/doycet\/statuses\/322024740585885696\" class=\"aktt_tweet_time\">#<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Writers writing just to write are, today, often seen as failing, because writing SEEMS more about finding audience than creating a thing.  <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/doycet\/statuses\/322025238453968896\" class=\"aktt_tweet_time\">#<\/a><\/li>\n<li>I mean, you share a story and get &quot;Okay: who&#039;s the audience for this?&quot; No one asks that about the puppy painting you did last weekend.  <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/doycet\/statuses\/322025844409245696\" class=\"aktt_tweet_time\">#<\/a><\/li>\n<li>I think you can write things you enjoy, and if it&#039;s good, it&#039;ll find audience.
