While these men are up in my basket, two firefighters are working on me down below.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>At some genetic level, I&#8217;m incapable of silencing the part of my brain that adds dirty subtext<sup>1<\/sup> to my daughter&#8217;s DVDs.<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s a Little Einsteins video where the youngest girl says something like \u201cLittle Red Train is miiighty strong\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Three years I\u2019ve been hearing that line; still &#8211; every time &#8211; I respond \u201c\u2026 and he\u2019s a TOMcat in the sack.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Someone tell me I&#8217;m not alone in this &#8211; what&#8217;s a kid&#8217;s video you invariably process the WRONG way?<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p><sup>1<\/sup> &#8211; Is it even subtext when you say it out loud?
